Congratulations to all teams in U7,U10 & U12 age groups that took part in this weekends IFF.
It was another great festival of football,with everyone taking part in the right spirit of the game.
In 2 very close finals in the U10 section, the eventual winners  were:
MKDJ7 Shield - Woburn Lions, and the P.Bird & Sons Shield - Bromham Youth Lions.
The gallant runners up were Leighton Town and Newton Longville.
In the last final of the weekend Brook End Colts Team 2 narrowly beat Harlington Team 2 to lift the EQT U12 Shield.
Again special thanks to all those who supported us again this year.

Can all managers please play to the correct format for their age groups ie U7 x 5 a side, U8 x 6 a side & U9 x 7 a side. Please do not ask your opposition to play outside of these permitted groups

Under no circumstances must UNREGISTERED players be played at any age group.
Please do not ask your opposition for their approval.

The MKDJ7 Management Committee will be monitoring both of these situations, and any breaches of these will be dealt with under League rules.

The IFF dates are as follows:

Saturday 9th January,  U8's and U9's, Times to be sorted
Sunday 10th January U9's and U11's Times to be sorted

Saturday 16th January ,  U10's all day  Times to be sorted
Sunday 17th January  U7's and U12's  times to be sorted

Fixtures will not be given out until the day your teams are playing.

Clubs will be contacted shortly with arrival times etc.

The dead line to pull any teams out is the 6th December 09.

Law 8 - The Start and Restart of Play
There seems to be some confusion with the above rule. To clarify.

"A coin is tossed and the team which wins the toss, decides which goal it will attack in the first half of the match.

The other team takes the kick off to start the match.

The team which wins the toss takes the kick off to start the second half of the match.

In the second half of the match the teams change ends and attack the opposite goals."

AT NO POINT DOES THE REFEREE DECIDE WHO KICKS OFF OR WHO CHOOSES ENDS.
